Bio

Jim Stockberger is a singer/songwriter that grew up in rural north central Iowa but currently resides in Indianola, IA.  Influenced by the local small town radio station playing old school country and classic rock, he picked up his sister’s guitar around the age of 7 and started plucking along with those great songs on the radio and now plays a heavy mix of those types of music in his performances. Over the past 20 years, he’s played in several different bands around Iowa and had the pleasure of meeting some amazing people along the way.  He’s now a solo acoustic artist playing shows with the same small town influences of great music, thought-provoking storytelling, and beer drinking fun.
